Lipitor (Atorvastatin) blocks the production of
fat in the body. It raises high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. Lipitor
is used with an appropriate diet. Certain patients use it to decrease the risk
of heart stroke, attack, chest pain that is caused by angina, or blockage of
blood vessels.
Do not use the drug if you have any allergic reaction
to Atorvastatin, if you are pregnant or are breast-feeding, if you have liver
problems.
Possible side effects are headache, dizziness, nausea, constipation,
diarrhea, upset stomach. Contact your doctor if you have muscle pain, difficulty
breathing, weakness, tightness in the chest, etc.
Mevacor is used for reducing the cholesterol level. It
can also be used for other purposes as defined by your doctor.
Before using the drug, tell your doctor if you have other medical
conditions, such as problems with muscles, alcohol usage, allergies, pregnancy
or breast-feeding. Dont take the medicine if you have liver disease. Tell
your doctor if you have low blood pressure, uncontrolled fits, serious

Pravachol reduces the high cholesterol level. The drug
is also taken to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke in patients who have
coronary heart disease.
Certain medications can interact with the drug. So, before using

medicines that you are taking. Dont use this medicine if you have allergic
reactions to pravastatin, if you experience liver/kidney disease, diabetes,
if you are a heavy drinker or in case of pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Contact your doctor at once if you have tumor of the hands,
chest pain, muscle pain, weakness with fever, etc.
Zocor is used for reducing the bad cholesterol and triglyceride
level and for raising the good cholesterol. The drug is used together
with low-fat and low-cholesterol diet. Zocor does not treat high cholesterol,
but can control it.
Do not to take the drug if you are allergic to any component
of the product.
Before using Zocor, tell your doctor about your medical
conditions, especially if you have kidney/liver problems, allergies, muscle problems,
if you are heavy drinker, if you are pregnant, or breast-feeding.
