Let’s talk about anxiety. I have anxiety. Sometimes, people say things like, “I used to have anxiety/depression and it was awful but now I’m fine, so yay me.” But it’s important to talk about this while you’re deep in it. When it doesn’t feel so fine. My anxiety is not as bad as it used to be. I have tools that help a lot. But I still have anxiety, occasional depression, and a panic disorder. This was moments after my most recent panic attack. I didn’t throw a filter on this… photo or try to make it cute. Anxiety isn’t cute. But it is real. Sometimes we struggle, and that’s okay. But we don’t need to feel ashamed, and we don’t need to suffer alone. That’s why I wrote my book, Not Just Me. Because I’ve been dealing with this stuff all my life, and I’ve learned some things that help. I talked to so many people who are dealing with different variations of the same thing. From combat Veterans with PTSD to cutters to grade-schoolers with debilitating perfectionism. And I want to share these stories so that no one feels helpless and alone. We can get through this. Together. With no shame. With no filter. https://www.amazon.com/Not-Just-Me-Depression-…/…/0999235818 #anxiety #depression #ditchthestigma
